Bird control

jpegItalian law no. 968 of 27/12/1972 defines doves as “protected State assets”. As a result, these Birds may not be captured, killed or sterilized without the authorization of the competent local health offices.
It is nevertheless permitted to deter pigeons, sparrows, gulls and crows from roosting or nesting on monuments, churches, or other types of buildings.
The need for such action arises from the harm that can be caused by the constant presence of these birds. In fact, in addition to causing serious damage to the aesthetics of the structures upon which they roost, these birds also carry parasites, and can even transmit numerous diseases, many of which are life-threatening to humans and other animals (cryptococcosis, salmonella, histoplasmosis, ornithosis, etc.).
For this purpose, General Service Srl offers a number of safe and effective alternatives for deterring and eliminating the presence of these Birds:
- electrical systems
- bird nets
- metallic deterrents
- birdwire
